Air Handling Unit Coil Design

Air Handling Unit Coil Design

One of the key parameters in designing and sizing air handling unit (AHU) coils is the air velocity passing over the coil surface. According to the standards set by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), an optimal air velocity of approximately 500 feet per minute (FPM) is recommended. Adhering to this guideline not only ensures proper thermal performance of the coil but also helps prevent issues such as increased pressure drop and unwanted noise.

At Tahvieh Mobadel Pars, our coil designs are based on international standards and backed by our technical expertise. We are committed to delivering the highest levels of efficiency and performance in all our products.
